The Rendering of Multilingual Occurrences in Netflix’s Italian Dub Streams: Evolving Trends and Norms on Streaming Platforms

Given the vast scholarly attention paid to multilingualism on traditional media over years, it seems timely focus streaming platforms. This paper sets out identify potential norms for rendering of multilingual occurrences in localised content Netflix series. It also seeks explore whether translation practices related differ from consolidated and TV cinema content. The chosen data sample consists Italian dub streams five Netflix-produced shows featuring as a main characteristic. strategies techniques adopted each series are singled out, quantified, labelled according combination taxonomies.
